Comfortable and peace of mind 😌

Pros: The staff was welcoming, despite we arrive late in the evening to check in. They are very responsive to our questions, which made us feel peace of mind. The room was wonderful and had every essential need to feel comfortable. With location wise, it is very good, not too far from everything else, easy access for buses for 20 minutes to the main Royal Mile. Overall 10/10 😊

Pros: We had a comfortable and pleasant stay overall. The room was very clean, well kept, and comfortable, and we slept well. Although the heating wasn’t very strong initially, the owner kindly provided a space heater on request, which solved the issue straight away and was much appreciated. The owner was genuinely hospitable, responsive, and attentive. When there was some confusion around housekeeping early in our stay, he personally apologised, took full responsibility, and ensured everything was sorted promptly. From that point on, the room was cleaned perfectly, and we felt well looked after.

Cons: One small area for improvement would be clearer housekeeping communication and slightly better staff training, to avoid misunderstandings.

Felt better than home

Pros: A GOLDMINE of a hotel. Soundproof rooms, super spacious, it feels like it was BUILT specifically for your own comfort (e.g the floor heated bathrooms, and much more QOL). I've been to many 5 star hotels but this should be an award winning hotel. Attached is a picture of just the bathroom after stay

Pros: The host was very attentive, kind and friendly. We stayed in King size room which was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. The host provided guests with free bottled water and shortbread. Bus stop to centre was 50 metres the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. All the best to the host. Thank you. Merry Christmas
