Eliza House

Pros: I absolutely loved the design of the building and the decor. I liked the morning coffee machine with packaged pastries and selection of cakes in reception area. Great location 10min walk from the main town. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Outside the front was a small seating area

Cons: The only downside was turning on the bathroom light the extractor fan auto kicks in which was quiet loud at night.

Pros: It’s a great property. Staff are really friendly. Good location too.

I would go again if I could guarantee the same room

Perfect location in a characterful hotel.

Pros: Excellent location and quirky hotel, in need of a cosmetic touch in some places, but this didn't hamper our stay at all - things like the shower and towels provided were great, staff were polite and friendly, the room was big, there was complimentary coffee and some packaged pastries if you wanted on offer in the morning, exactly how it described. I would come back and stay here again, no question. Thank you.

Pros: The reception was helpful, and always available. Free tea and coffee facilities in room, very good location near Haymarket train station. Good neighbourhood

Cons: Nothing. I loved my stay there, I will go back.

Eliza House the true definition of Scottish Architecture and Royal Feel

Pros: The location was superb and central! The bed was amazing with the look and feel of the Scottish architecture that truly resonated with Eliza!

Cons: There was a foul smell on our floor where we were staying but it didn't affect us inside only when we passed through it! The staff could have been more welcoming and smiling 😀

Pros: Location was brilliant for a few days stay. Easy to get to from airport and trains to continue our journey. Staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable

Pros: Lovely quaint room. Proximity to station excellent. Short walk to city centre or trams outside door. Always a staff member on hand to assist you.

Cons: Found heating a tad confusing to use

Short traditional stay in Edinburgh

Pros: I picked the property as I wanted something Scottish, traditional and wanted to support a small business. The location was great. Beds comfy and clean.

Cons: It was all fine
