Unique and private spa in an old kirk

Pros: Amazing apartment: smart home equipped old kirk in a lovely Scottish village at the countryside. We really enjoyed our morning tea in a wooden hot pot in this unique wellness area! So nice and friendly landlady - thank you soooo much!

Cons: Nothing to complain about

Excellent well equipped lodge/apartment. Highly recommend and great for staying with little ones!

Pros: We had a fantastic stay in the lodge/apartment. It is superbly equipped and as good as described. The spa is amazing and the hot tub is a real treat. It has all the facilities needed with a well equipped kitchen which is very cleverly designed to make the use of the small space. It has 3 separate toilets and showers so you never have to wait! The bedroom is good size and the bed is super comfy. We were staying with our little one (2 year old) and the hosts could not have done more, there was a little box of toys, a great travel cot, plates and cutlery for kids and a high chair. Would definitely recommend to stay here and the host (Cherie) is easy to get hold off and quick to repsonse to WhatsApp when/if needed. Thanks again!

Cons: It is expensive, but you get what you pay for! Oh and the lighting takes a bit of getting used too...! For some reason the blind in the bedroom loved to randomly open even when in night mode but we were probably doing something wrong.

Pros: The accommodation and facilities were excellent. Blairlogie itself is a quiet, picturesque little hamlet and there are bus stops for going into Stirling. You will need a Taxi to go to Bridge of Allan, which is worth a visit, with some nice eateries. We used Braehead Taxis as Stirling Taxis would not accept dogs. There is a lot to do in the area and we did the open-top bus in Stirling, which took us to a lot of the sites. We also visited the Bannockburn experience by car and managed to enjoy a gin tasting at the Stirling distillery beside the castle, which is dog-friendly! The Blairmains farm shop is within walking distance for breakfast or lunch and dogs are allowed in the outside sitting area which they access through a gap in the fence.

Cons: Lighting and TV can be tricky to operate until you become more familiar, struggled with the bedside lighting.

Exceptional historical accommodation

Pros: The exceptional accommodation combines modern and historical with great attention to detail. Everything was super clean. The spa area was unique and very relaxing after a long day of hiking. Overall, the old church has been brilliantly converted into a home.

Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the overuse of the “smart home\
