Exactly as we hoped

Pros: The location was ideal. Old fashioned hotel and we liked that. We did not eat as we went out all day every day

Had a wonderful short trip.

Pros: The hotel was within walking distance of all the places we wanted to see but was far enough away from the main busy areas to be quiet at night. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was a time travel into the decadance atmosphere of ease and comfort without any restrictions and prejudice.

Pros: I like an ambulance of the quiet area. It was very convenient to get to the old town to the Fringe festival. The stuff was very polite and always trying to help. We forgot our bag at breakfast and forgot to pay for breakfast, but everything was dealt with promptly and elegantly. This hotel is unique but if you have problems with legs , ask for room with less steps. Overall we had a warm welcome and looked after during the whole time of staying. Nothing was impossible for this lovely people. Highly recommend .
