Old Spittal Hospital Apartment - Free Parking

Pros: Absolutely loved everything, liked the building still had it's old touches despite being modernised

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like - we liked everything

Lovely apartment in a great location

Pros: Although no breakfast in the booking Stuart kindly left milk, cereal and bread which tided us over before we shopped . The flat was extremely comfortable and the building has lots of character and near the castle and other sites . We always managed to get parked outside. It is paid parking but charges only apply 0845 to 1730(I think) so suited us . We always managed to get a space . Even if you have to pay for parking it is up to 4 hours and very reasonable . You are also not far from quite a few restaurants . Would recommend the Portcullis Inn about 5 minutes walk away towards the Castle. Reasonable price, great food and service. I would definitely stay here again .

Cons: Nothing . It had everything we needed. I guess a minor comment which my wife noticed (but I didnt) was that it was ever so slightly musty. However for an almost 400 year old , historical house , that is to be expected I would not recommend the flat to anyone with a disability because of the steps and also because it it at the top of the town so a little climb to get to it

Great stay in a beautiful building

Pros: Beautiful old building with a great view from the kitchen. Thoughtfully decorated and well equipped. Practically enough provided in the fridge for breakfast. Good location near the town centre but just far enough away that it wasn’t noisy.

Cons: Nothing (If the microwave doesn’t seem to work then switch it off and on again!)

Very good location, excellent host

Pros: No breakfast. The location is very good, close to the center and the train station (for visits to Edinburgh). The apartment is very good, equipped with everything you need, as described on booking.com.

Cons: There were no things I didn't like.

Highly Recommend

Pros: This apartment was exceptional. It was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. It is in the perfect location for all the sights of Stirling, restaurants and public transport. Although central, it was very quiet, particularly at night. Stuart was the perfect host. Would definitely stay again.

Pros: It was a fantastic location to explore Stirring and Stuart was a great host with explaining everything that the apartment and location can offer us.

Best Apartment Ever!

Pros: Just all round fantastic. Clean,, comfortable, stylish! Even left us a nice welcome note n gift, fresh milk, eggs, bread, nice coffee.....really nice personal touches and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely be back! What a host! Great location to boot! 👌

Great apartment for family getaway.

Pros: The apartment was spotlessly clean, had all the amenities you need for your stay, and even included breakfast items, i.e., milk, cearel, jam, eggs, etc. The location was perfect for stirling castle and the old jail house. Would highly recommend Stuart, the host who made the stay great with his reccomedatons and knowing he was quick to respond to messages.

Pros: the property was a home away from home, highly recommend. Stuart was only a message away with quick response to any questions! 5⭐️

Pros: Beautiful apartment with such history in a great location. Very happy to find food items available for breakfast. Home made bread, tea, coffee etc. Fridge stocked with essentials too. Very well stocked apartment with good quality items. Great shower and supply of towels. Would stay again!
