Very comfy and intimate

Pros: The room was incredible, Large with a comfy bed and tall ceilings

Cons: Outside of the room, there isn’t much in the way of amenities, no manned bar, small seating space

Pros: Great location and the room was amazing. Staff very professional

Cons: Having dirty crockery and utensils in property till next morning

Warm and cozy classic hotel

Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and easy to walk into the city centre. The old styling of the place was very charming and warm. The car park around the back of the property is charged at £15 per night and for that we were able to arrive early and leave the car parked there for the rest of the day after we checked out which (in comparison to other car parks in the centre of Edinburgh) made it great value. It was a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Cons: The only water cooler was in a key-card locked room on the ground floor by reception. This wasn’t too much of a hassle but more throughout the building might be nice.

Very enjoyable will come back.

Pros: Spacious and comfortable, it’s quiet and relaxing near the Dean Village 5 minutes away.

Fantastic room in beautiful Edinburgh building

Pros: Lovely staff. Beautiful room. Loved the honesty box. Beautiful resort. Cannot wait to return again. Very clean.

Cons: The parking wasn't very clear. Several attempts to find it. There is not a lot of singage to help find where it is.

Pros: Altogether very cozy ambience and spacious room. It is a bit farther away from the centre but then again Edinburgh is not the biggest city. And there are the Haymarket station and bus connections just few minutes away. We arrived very late due to a delay in our flight but the check-in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Overall, even when there were some things I did not like, the stay was very comfortable.

Cons: The room had high ceiling but you could hear the footsteps and the floor creaking when someone above your room was moving. The water pipes (?) seem to be built in the wall from the sleeping room so every time someone was flushing the toilet you could hear that as well.
