Lovely old fashioned hotel in a superb location with excellent value for money

Pros: Great view of Dean Village from room 13. Not a lot of rooms Nice breakfast Great location. 10 min walk from Haymarket Station Period features Helpful staff

Pros: Very warm room with comfortable beds. Cosy bar downstairs. Very friendly staff

Cons: Small point but the lighting in the room was not adequate. Luckily there were bedside lamps.

A quiet and comfortable visit that was enhanced by the history of the place and the quality of staff

Pros: Care was made of the room presentation. The history of the building was reflected throughout and that added to the sense of style. The breakfast was buffet both with and without gluten options as well as a cooked option within the price. The hotel is very close to the central shopping district and yet it was quiet and felt residential and peaceful. All of the staff made the effort to interact and were responsive and keen to help.

Cons: Please be aware that whilst there is a lift, it is very small, which reflects the history of the building. Do not expect to fit a number of persons and their cases at one time. This was made clear by the reception staff.
