Capledrae Farmstay Shepherds Huts

Pros: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Capledrae Farm Stay, Nestled in the rolling hills of Fife, the property offers a peaceful escape from life while still being conveniently located for exploring nearby towns and coastal spots. The host were warm and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between being available if needed and allowing for complete privacy.

Pros: Everything, the scenery was amazing so peaceful and quiet Everything was clean and tidy. Host decorated the hut for us as it was a celebration everything was perfect

Pros: A lovely place to end our holiday, a bit of peace and quiet before our long flight home. Maggie our host was entertaining and we enjoyed talking with her. The cabins were nice and cosy.

This place was the perfect location to get away from the usual frenetic pace of city accommodations for a change

Pros: The style of accommodation was unique to us. It was amazing. The hut was very well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved the accompanying BBQ hut. It was perfect for cooking for ourselves. Maggie the owner was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location is peaceful and quiet, and an easy drive to Edinburgh or St Andrew’s

Pros: BBQ huts are a great addition to the shepherds hut also everything provided (fuel for the BBQ) as soon as you arrive just bring meat and your settled in. 😊

Pros: Gorgeous location very quiet with beautiful scenery. The host Maggie was so lovely and accommodating. Very clean and good amenities.

We recommend to stay

Pros: Nice view, we were glad to have escaped to the countryside, fresh air. Maggie was so kind to bring some cold drinks which we enjoyed after a day of cycling/bikepacking form Edinburgh to Cardenden.

Cons: Nothing, but if there would be some complementary Coffee and tea upon arrival 🙂

Brilliant stay in a beautiful setting

Pros: Beautiful setting. Compact huts but well stocked. BBQ was a great additional feature. We visited with our 9yo daughter and they could Not have been friendlier. Allowing her to help with the horses - she loved it.

The most idyllic stay

Pros: This place is unique & quite frankly amazing. Maggie is just the nicest, friendliest lady. As we pulled up, she was straight out to welcome us & direct us to our hut. She sat with us & took time to make sure we were settled & happy with everything, answering all our questions & took time to speak to my two girls. Every morning she was down sorting the horses & my girls went to speak with her & she stood & spoke with them. They met Roberta, Maggie's sister aswell who was equally as lovely. Maggie has thought of every detail & I am so glad I chose to book here as was looking all over. Me & my girls will definitely return for another weekend. The views, the shepherds hut, the bbq hut, the well kept grounds & horses are all second to none. Thank you Maggie.

Cons: There is absolutely nothing not to like about this place. Home from home.

Restful Stay.

Pros: A lovely place, the shepherd's hut was very comfortable and Maggie was very friendly and welcoming. It was just such a lovely, restful break.
