A great get away stay in the countryside with a lake view

Pros: A getaway rural landscape, with the opportunity for a great walk from the property. Stylish, comfortable interior, packed neatly into a cosy room. The adventure of being able to watch the sunset a short distance away in a cabin with a log fire.

Pros: The hosts were absolutely amazing at making the getaway comfortable and easy for us just to relax and enjoy ourselves. The calm atmosphere with all the animals running around made for the best mini break, highly recommend Nether Glenny Farm.

Lovely setting, good cor days out around area.

Pros: Beautiful location off country road. Quiet, decor lovely. Cozy space.

Cons: Kitchen area much smaller than expected (photo looked bigger) & no real oven, just tiny toaster type one. Welcoming hosts, not given many breakfast items for 6 nights, thought should have been provided breakfast items daily or upfront. (Advertised as bed & breakfast).

Beautiful room with gorgeous views!

Pros: The welcome when we arrived was lovely. The room was warm and the facilities were really good. The location was excellent, great to walk out into the mountains with a view of the Loch/Lake Menteith.

Pros: The location was fantastic, the hosts were very friendly. The accommodation was very nice. We would recommend Nether Glenny.

Cons: The only thing that we found uncomfortable was the bed. It was too hard for us.

Pros: Location was exceptional. MERLIN cottage was a lovely little cottage. Breakfast included which was plentiful. Hosts were welcoming and friendly. A must visit.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting

Pros: We stayed in the cosy studio Merlin which was beautifully finished and well equipped for a short break. Alison and Mathew were very welcoming hosts and we loved seeing the animals around the property.

Relaxing

Pros: The cottage was perfect. We got food from the farm and it was delicious. The views were stunning and we were lucky enough to get sunshine in January. We watched the peacocks and chickens wandering around and a friendly dog cam round to say hi. The Highland Coos were spectacular.

Fresh farm milk and a peacock? Sold!

Pros: It has a nice cozy feeling, the hosts are nice, the abundance of animals is lovely (dogs, cats, a chicken, a peacock, oh my!), and getting fresh farm milk and eggs is a rare blessing.

Cons: It can be a bit cramped when eating, the location is quite remote and the peacock 's wake up serenade at 7 am was a bit much. But nothing too dramatic.
