Lovely little place, with stylish bedrooms and welcoming owners.

Pros: Lovely little place, with stylish bedrooms, modern bathrooms and a cosy lounge area with a log fire. The owners we super quick to message us back, as we arrived late and were checking out earlier that usual to catch the Islay ferry, which is only 10 mins away. Even though it was 6am, we were provided with a fabulous take away breakfast with coffees.

Cons: We didn’t stay long enough.

A stylish and delicious delight

Pros: Such a stylish, comfortable, and relaxed space for our two-night stay. The bedroom is peaceful with a big bed and elegant en suite so we felt very relaxed straight away. We were the only guests so had the little lounge area to ourselves to read the fun collection of books and enjoy the warming stove after a day walking. The breakfasts were delicious, with cooked options as well as a cold selection of fruits and yoghurts and always freshly-baked bread. Andrea is an incredible chef and we were thrilled to have his incredible three-course meal on our anniversary evening. He was perfectly attentive and clearly loves cooking. The Kintyre peninsular was also a surprising delight. All highly recommended!

Pros: Booking and communication from Kat and Andrea was excellent. The property is private with nice views over nearby hills. Andrea was an exceptional host, was always available to help and provide advice. The breakfast and evenings meals were exceptional.

Pros: We were warmly welcomed by Andrea, and felt beautifully looked after. Very comfy beds. Spacious clean room and bathroom. You knew that a lot of care and thought had gone into giving the guests a unique experience. Pretty setting too. Delicious breakfast! We regret we didn't book dinner - or stay longer!

Pros: Andrea was an excellent host. Property was very clean and comfortable Breakfast was excellent and Andrea couldn’t have been more accommodating. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend again.

Pros: We were grateful for the shelter that this guesthouse provided on a particularly rainy day during our hike along the Kintyre way - what a luxurious place after camping outdoors, with a quiet, clean and spacious room. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast amazing. We continued on our hike the next day, but certainly could well imagine coming back for a longer stay.

Pros: Stayed here the night prior to catching the 7am ferry to Islay. Wonderful, peaceful and impeccably clean. Hist even provided a take away cup for me to make a tea for my early start. Wonderful service and immaculately clean room.

A quiet retreat providing easy access to the Kintyre Peninsula, this B & B was a perfect fit for us.

Pros: Starting with a very friendly greeting and informative conversation, Andrea provided us with great tourism insights. His breakfasts were exceptional. I'd recommend this B and B, and would have no hesitation in returning in the future.

Cons: As we were on holidays, wifi and cell service wasn't integral for us but it was sometimes an issue.
