Pros: Allan was so welcoming! Great location, fantastic view from the room, feels very cosy & warm. Delicious breakky. Well organised B&B. Allan was also very helpful as I had to shorten my stay due to weather/ferry cancellations. Appreciate your help Allan!

Pros: the location is very convenient, just a few steps away from the harbour. great breakfast. Allan is a wonderful host, very helpful and friendly.

A very happy time spent at the Belvedere and on Arran.

Pros: Super friendly, entertaining and very helpful manager. My room had the added bonus of a magnificent view to the harbour and Goatfell - just fantastic. Large lounge room for visitors to chill out in if wanted and a large separate dining room with a little fridge and microwave. Good breakfasts. So close to the ferry terminal, bus station and excellent shopping. This is a lovely old property with good size rooms, good shower - not “sleek chrome style modern” but super comfortable and charming. Loved my “way too short” visit.

Cons: Stairs up to my room - but the manager met me at the entrance and very kindly took my bag up for me.

Pros: The Belvedere was well located. Allan was welcoming,friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The facility of being able to bring a takeaway back for dinner, was very useful for some nights. There were lovely views from our room.

Pros: Our host was a pleasure to talk to and very helpful. Our room was very comfortable, and so was the lounge and breakfast room. The views from our room were beautiful. The breakfasts were very, very good. The guest house was spotlessly clean it was a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay again
