A warm, welcoming and nourishing retreat

Pros: Stonewater House is the loveliest B&B we have ever stayed at. The breakfasts are every bit as delicious (and huge!) as others report and we appreciated the decadent selection of teas and coffees available with breakfast too. Our king room was very large and well-equipped with coffee and tea facilities, shower/tub (good water pressure!), toiletries, lots of coat hangers, radiator etc. We enjoyed the sea view. And the common room/balcony is lovely too - I wish we had had more time to peruse the extensive library! Carol and Jules are themselves perfect hosts, were flexible about our arrival time and made us feel very welcome, with tips about local food and attractions. We hope to come back, and wholeheartedly recommend Stonewater House to all comers!

Wonderful B&B, highly recommend!

Pros: Great view from the really well presented and comfortable room, friendly and helpful hosts, amazing breakfast. I had a perfect time!

Cons: Thin curtains, perhaps bring an eye mask if sensitive to 5am sunrises!

Highly recommend

Pros: Lovely laid back accommodation. Highly recommend. Carol & Jules were lovely hosts who cannot do enough for you. Better than any hotel we have stayed at during our whole trip. Absolutely amazing, delicious breakfast, just way too much for us. Great spot, close to pubs and local shop.

Pros: Very friendly hosts, beautiful and interesting decor, including loads of books available to borrow . Breakfast comprised beautiful range of vegan courses, tasty and beautifully presented containing many many plant based foods. Only slight comment was the breakfasts were too generous so portions could be smaller !!

the stay was peaceful, caring and relaxing.

Pros: Carol and Jules were sweethearts, friendly atmosphere, nice sitting room dining area with a very good selection books, rooms were very comfortable and clean and breakfast was a lovely, some feed perfect before going on hikes.

Nice wee B&B with great breakfast

Pros: The breakfast was sumptuous. The hosts made sure to accommodate our likings and gave us a feast every morning. They made sure we have everything and were very welcoming

Cons: - Poor wifi connection. Not suitable for remote working. - Little bit noisy. We could hear the person next door talking/snoring or walking around on the squeaky floor.
