Dunivaig B&B

Simply Wonderfull

Pros: Dunivaig was the best B&B we stayed at in Scotland. We booked the king size room which had a most wonderful view looking out to Loch Fyne. Its worth getting up early to catch the sunrise, you will not be disappointed. Do not skip breakfast, I had the porridge and the Traditional Scottish Breakfast, both superb.

Cons: Having to leave

Excellent stay in beautiful coastal town near ferries

Pros: Great value accommodation in lovely, interesting house. Excellent couple own it. Perfect breakfast and bedroom. Very helpful over late/uncertain ferry arrival times. Very well-organised for the guest's convenience.

Cons: In the interests of thoroughness, our particular room's shower/wc room was downstairs, as previously we knew. Wise to check if this might trouble you.

Lovely stay in Tarbert with friendly hosts.

Pros: Lovely older style property with wonderful views over Loch Fyne . Excellent breakfast provided. Friendly hosts who were very helpful . Our room had a small ensuite bathroom. Very clean. Parking for property is nearby on the opposite side of the street.

Cons: Minor issues only. Smallish room at the top of a narrow staircase so bringing bags up and down is a little difficult. Finding the location was a little tricky on the first night. Parking is a little far from the property but quite understandably when you see the location Bathroom is tiny but has a shower and toilet. Very clean and well maintained .

Holiday short stay.

Pros: The room was very good, large with wonderful views.

Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like.

Hostage and quirky room made it an enjoyable stay

Pros: The room the welcome great breakfast. Great location.

Cons: Bathroom all though it was for sole use access was open onto public area. Did not know this when booking.

Great place to stay

Pros: Room was very clean and bed most comfortable. Breakfast was well cooked with a good choice. Parking was easy and convenient and location was excellent , overlooking the Loch. I would readily stay here again and do not hesitate to recommend.

Fabulous warm and welcoming visit, a highlight of our trip to the west Scotland area

Pros: Fabulous and warm welcome from our hosts at this venue. Fully took on board our dietary needs advised in advance. Room, although small, was actually perfect for our needs (upper room in the tower). The listing describes the venue well. Great views across Loch Fyne. Although parking is at a premium here, there was no issue parking on the roadside outside in the private lay-by owned by the venue. Fully recommend Dunivaig B&B and will stay here on future trips to Islay

Pros: Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area. Friendly owners who clearly took pride in presenting their property. Excellent breakfast including homemade bread. Little details like china cups and extras like spare power adapters added to the whole experience.

Lovely location and very nice hosts

Pros: Location was perfect with an amazing view of the harbour. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast

Comfortable stay and felt very looked after

Pros: Beautifully presented property and hosts were very hospitable.

Cons: We found the duvet too thick for the temperature in the room but that’s just personal preference.
