A great base for exploring Islay.

Pros: The cleanliness of the whole place, and the comfort of the bed.

Cons: There was very little room for anything apart from the bed in the room, and the sliding door on the en suite offed very little privacy, but it was classed as a small double and fortunately we know each other well.

Wonderful B&B with lovely folk.

Pros: Breakfast was lovely and just the right amount. Really enjoyed the Lorne sausage.

Cons: Curtains could be thicker as outside light was bright - but that is being really picky!

Pros: An Cuan was a great B&B and am happy to recommend it to other visitors ,it was very comfy and excelent breakfast .and Bowmore is a good base to stay while in Islay. Would definitely stay at An Cuan if returning to Islay .

Pros: We stayed four nights in Bowmore in a small but very complete bedroom with perfect shiower. Perfectly cleaned each day and hygienic. We were very well looked after by Birgit & Joerg in the morning with an excellent breakfast. A wide choice of breakfast selections. Perfectly located in the centre of Bowmore and always parking naar the front door.
