Stunning location

Pros: Beautiful location, with stunning views over the Loch. The breakfasts were amazing and the host was attentive and helpful. Even helping us book dinner at local restaurant before we were there.

Loch Gorm house was a fantastic base for our Islay trip.

Pros: Beautiful house with lots of personal treasures. Fantastic view over the bay from our bedroom. Breakfast was of a very high standard.

Wonderful location and excellent host!!

Pros: Fiona could not have been more helpful. Invaluable local knowledge and always keen to serve. Fantastic stay (even though we were over for a funeral). Will definitely be back!! :-)

Over our expectations

Pros: Fantastic place to stay. Century-old house. Extremely clean. Fiona ( the host) has a great sens of humour. She takes care of every details and she had served us realy great breakfast. The place is at 8 minutes of walk from Bruichladdich distillery.

Cons: Nothing at all. It was just Wow!

Lovely welcome to Islay

Pros: Beautiful house, well located for access to Bruichladdich , Port Charlotte, Portnahaven Bridgend. Nothing was more than 30minutes away. Comfortable beds, well appointed bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms with great showers. Towels, bathroom extras, tea and coffee making and biscuits etc all added to the welcome. Fabulous breakfasts - don’t miss it and give yourself time to do it justice. Buffet for cereals, fruits, yogurt, juices etc but the cooked breakfasts are exceptional. Fiona is the most welcoming of hosts - nothing is too much trouble. Great advice for things to do around the island. We’ll be back.
