Beautiful hotel in an ideal location on the beautiful island of Islay

Pros: Great location, rooms were modern and clean. The food was excellent and there was a well considered selection of Islay whisky. The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful and made the visit thoroughly enjoyable.

Perfection personified, Lorna is your shining star

Pros: Everything and everyone was so welcoming Lorna the manger is exceptional! Her care and attentiveness is second to none. The hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated with the most comfortable bed and luxurious bedding.

Islay's finest

Pros: Beautiful views and great dog walks. Delicious food and wonderful staff. A very comfortable and welcoming hotel, also for the dog.

Cons: The room was quite hot and it was a long way up a lot of stairs with the dog and all the luggage.

Pros: Had a lovely stay, the rooms had super comfortable beds with a sea view also. The bar was a lovely place to retreat to for a drink, they had a really good selection of craft beers and ciders. The food served for dinner and breakfast was great quality too.

Cons: Bath tub showers are the worst. Unfortunately there's very little else in Port Charlotte.
