Situated less than 10 minutes' walk from Oban's famous McCaig's Tower, The Ranald Hotel is set in the heart of Oban town centre and just off the main esplanade. Central.. Comfy... Compact... Friendly/helpful staff

Pros: Great location for ferry terminal and train station... Clean rooms.. Friendly/helpful staff. Who were always on the go...

Cons: Fire door to bathroom was pretty heavy and slammed quick.. Had to remember to catch it each time. But could easy hurt someone..did point it out so hopefully be looked at.

Pleasant comfortable stay good bars and food near the hotel.

Pros: Didn’t have breakfast but it looked and smelt good . The room was nice and modern very clean the shower was very good .The area was quiet at night bed was big and comfortable had a good sleep.Location of the hotel was handy for shops bars and restaurants.

Cons: Couldn’t fault anything . Would definitely stay again .

Good stay poor breakfast service

Pros: Female on reception on arrival was really good hotel was clean comfy and shower was amazing

Cons: Male serving breakfast was not very polite. We waited 40 mins for a bacon roll and waffle with fruit. 2 tables came in after us and got served more complex food well in front of us. We weren’t even given an explanation

A lovely stay in the Ranald Hotel!

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing (cannot recommend the pancakes enough)! The room was quiet and very comfortable. We loved our stay and would love to come back.
