Muthu Oban Regent Hotel

Good break away in the centre of Oban

Pros: The room was clean and well presented, not a huge room but big enough for our needs, The breakfast was lovely, all well cooked and lots of choice, the hotel is right in the centre of Oban and you can watch the ferry from the breakfast table. There is a very small area at the front of the hotel for parking but it was always full, the town car park was just across the road so we used that.

Cons: My only complaint was the plates at breakfast were cold, so your food didn’t stay hot for long, the cooked breakfast choice was very good I thought, (lovely bacon and black pudding) but the ice cold plate spoiled it.

Pros: Very comfortable bed spotlessly clean room . Very friendly staff.

Pros: Very nice room , location was great views out window were superb, very well set out hotel

Cons: Parking can be a challenge, shower was problematic wouldnt stay on but could be operator error , was a bit noisy at night once pubs closed but expected that as next to them.

Lovely staff, comfortable room, tasty, and warm breakfast.

Pros: Good position, we were upgraded to a sea view which was nice. Room was small, which we knew, but had everything we needed. It was warm and clean, large comfortable bed, staff were lovely and welcoming and breakfast (buffet) was ample and tasty.

Cons: We really liked the room but the only little things I would suggest are: that individual bedside lights would be better than the small bedside lights and the bedroom lights that are only controlled by one bedside switch. Free parking is a problem in Oban, not the hotel’s fault but worth noting.

Room with a great view at a good price.

Pros: It’s in a great location, the beds were very comfy, we had the best view of the water and the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly.

Cons: Our room was tiny!

Comfortable stay in a room with great views over the harbour

Pros: Very friendly staff and comfortable room and bed with nice shower. Very clean and tidy room. Great views over the harbour and a tasty breakfast. Very close to the harbour

Pros: Everyone was so helpful. We did ask for the rooms to be moved which was better.

Cons: The outside of the property really needs painted and cleaned up. It would put customers off staying. Inside was lovely.

Cons: The outside of the property was a bit run down . Nothing a lick of paint & clean up outside the steps etc

Great hotel

Pros: The staff were really welcoming and very polite. Had no problem what so ever.

Great hotel , great staff and great location definitely would go back xx

Pros: Everything was freshly decorated and modern with some lovely vintage furniture , rooms were lovely
