Pros: I actually liked that the House was on the outskirts of the city centre. It is an ideal location for those who value peace and quiet. It allowed us to see a little more of Edinburgh than we would have if we were smack in the middle of the city.

Cons: There was only one toilet and bathroom for 6 of us

Really nice place where to stay

Pros: Wonderful place. The host was really helpful. The beds were delightfully comfortable. Large bedrooms and a nice kitchen. A quiet setting — simply wonderful.

Cons: The layout of the rooms is a bit unusual, with the dining room on the ground floor and the kitchen upstairs. Not very practical.

Pros: Everything. The decoration was great, the beds were very comfortable and we could cook in the beautiful kitchen. It is well placed to go to Edimbourg by taking some bus, the 47 for example. A.d I would recommand to visit the Penicuik estate. I just regret not to stay longer.

A fabulous two bedroom house.

Pros: The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped and there was a good bus route into Edinburgh about a ten minute walk away. It was on the outside of the village in a lovely quiet spot.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. It had everything we needed.

Cons: Kitchen is upstairs, next to bedrooms, rather than downstairs, next to dining&living room. Not a huge problem though.

Great family home close to Edinburgh

Pros: Lovely house. Clean. Private. Relaxing. Generous sized rooms. Great nearby walks. 40 min drive to central Edinburgh. Friendly and relaxed hosts.

Cons: Beds and pillows were satisfactory for short stay but not particularly comfortable. Some noise from road - traffic lights are very close to bedroom window. Easily resolved/reduced with window closed.
