Dalziel Park Hotel

Excellent

Pros: Friendly staff on arrival, straight into the bar for a drink, booked a table for dinner. friendly staff at restaurant, seated very quickly, drinks served very quickly Food was prompt and very good Rooms were clean and comfy, car parked right in front of my window Breakfast if you have a hearty appetite try the full Scottish it did not disappoint

Cons: Nothing not to like

Pros: Loved everything about it! except we had a room in the wee bungalow so ment going outside to our room,only small fault though everything else was lovely...food yummy,!

Brilliant 3 night stay

Pros: We stayed at Dalziel Park Hotel for 3 nights as we were visiting family who lived locally. The room located in the cottage was comfortable,reasonably quiet & conveniently close to the main building where the bar and restaurant was located.We ate in the main restaurant 2 nights & were joined by family for a meal & drinks on 1 of the nights (very useful as restaurant & bar open to non residents).The food (dinner & breakfast) was excellent and portions very generous.The service was friendly & very good overall. The lounge bar was extremely busy on the Saturday night & had a great atmosphere on the weekend prior to Xmas. Overall, a brilliant experience from start to finish — we’ll definitely be back!

2nd stay and will return

Pros: 2nd time staying here and we would definitely return again. The staff are fantastic, so polite and friendly. The room really comfortable and clean. Everything needed for a work stop over. Shower really good and powerful and the food in the restaurant was fab (dinner and breakfast)

Cons: Very minor points - The room we stayed in this time was quite small and very warm, even with the radiators turned off. No option at booking to not have breakfast.

Pros: Room was lovely and big along with en suite, breakfast was great, full scottish breakfast was big and tasted amazing

Pros: Everything was treated very well and upgraded to the suite which was amazing

Excellent will stay there again

Pros: Staff were superb but also overworked and seemed to have too many things to do. However they were all smart, very polite and dedicated to there job. Food was superb - the steak was the best I've ever had.

Cons: Staff overworked, door lock didn't work and needed staff to let us in several times.

Pros: The food was excellent with a great breakfast. Staff all exceptionally helpful. Beautifully clean and welcoming. We would most definitely stay again and recommend it.

Cons: The double rooms are quite small however do the purpose. Might be too small if you were there more than a couple of nights. We were put in a room in one of the houses to start with but the heating didn't work and it was a cold night. We were moved to another room immediately and given a drink 'on the house' as an apology. These things happen so it didn't affect our opinion of the hotel which overall was great.

Pros: The woodland setting was so pretty. The layout of the hotel was excellent…it was also,immaculate in every area.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing about this property that was not excellent. We have stayed here several times for various functions and our stay was always excellent.
