Very good budget hotel in Central Scotland.

Pros: Had an uspecified time for an appointment in area for next day, so booked in for previous evening. Arrived early and was allowed to sit in bar till room ready. Room was similar in style, and fitments, to Travelodge and Premier Inn. Unable to get a walk in shower but given a room on ground floor with an over bath shower. OH was feeling sore after travelling and decided to soak in the bath and enjoyed it. Had dinner in seperate pub restaurant and was pleased with taste of the food and pleased at the very modest prices. Breakfast was also in pub restaurant and was reasonably priced. Help yourself buffet which is not as good as freshly prepared but not too bad.

Cons: Buffet breakfast could have used smaller dishes and more frequent fresh dishes.

Cons: Yes just a slight upset i was having to Ask staff for tea and coffee and fresh towels for the room inside the restaurant across the carpark i feel the rooms should be checked daily and not leave it up to your guests to chase a staff member to replenish towels ect a door handle sign is to be hung outside if you wanted your room cleaned this should be checked by the house keeping staff daily even if its to just to check on towels ect my husband is disabled and needed fresh towels everyday and i found it very uncomfortable having to ask every day for a 10 days stay for these items im very shy and found i was apologising for having to ask every day thankyou

Pros: Fantastic value for money . All staff members friendly, cheerful and very welcoming. Fabulous stay.

Pros: Heating in the room actually worked unlike the Chain Runner in Livingstone where I stay regilarly which is freezing. Foodxwas nice and the girl that booked me in and later on took my food order was lovely. Young blonde girl but didn't get her name

Pros: Very easy to book quick check in and staff brilliant. Wish id discovered this hotel a long time ago.

Cons: Not being able to stay a few nights as one night in different hotels travelling around with my job.

Cons: Toilet paper - cheap. Some doors banged during the middle of the night. Better sound-proofing would be good.

Would be back , just not for food

Pros: I loved everything about it , although I thought the food was a bit pricey for how much we got but it was great , bed was probably the comfiest bed I’ve slept in a hotel

Cons: The price of dinner , other than that everything else was perfect
