Good
Pros: the room was for disabled persons so had a reasonable amount of space around most facilities. It had the usual provision of kettle and TV.
Cons: The bathroom was in need of a proper refit. Surfaces had been covered with a plastic film which was unsticking itself. The sink was low, no doubt for a wheel chair person but could have had shelving near by for items.

I'll be back again to this affordable, convenient, clean, and well-run hotel.
Pros: I’ve stayed at the Days Inn in Hamilton several times recently, and it’s consistently delivered a clean, functional, and friendly experience. The location is very convenient for Glasgow and the surrounding area, making it a practical choice for short visits or overnight stops. Parking has never been a problem, with plenty of space available in both the car and lorry parks. The rooms themselves are always clean, tidy, and well-maintained. They’re not luxurious, but they’re perfectly adequate for a motel — comfortable and practical. Check-in has always been smooth, and staffing is sufficient. I’ve been greeted by the same desk attendant on all of my recent visits (a native of Lanarkshire with a suspiciously English accent!) and he’s a real credit to the place: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming to every guest.
Cons: The building is OK, but the grounds and car park are... not exactly welcoming, but they do the job. I’m always frustrated by how difficult it is to access the site from the southbound carriageway. I know this is outside the hotel’s control, but it really ought to be easier than it is. The biggest letdown is the food situation: the only option on-site is a McDonald’s, and prices are predictably inflated due to its motorway service location. It’s disappointing if you’re hoping for more variety or value.

Clean, convenient, and friendly — a dependable no-frills affordable stay close to Glasgow.
Pros: - Location: Convenient for Glasgow and surrounding routes. - Rooms: Consistently clean, tidy, and functional — exactly what you want from a motel. - Parking: Never had a problem finding a space; car park and lorry park are practical, if a bit unattractive. - Staffing and check-in: Smooth check-in process; staff are adequate. - Desk attendant: The same friendly, knowledgeable receptionist on three visits who makes guests feel welcome.
Cons: - Southbound access: Access from the southbound carriageway is unnecessarily complicated, which is frustrating even if it isn’t the hotel’s fault. - Food availability: On-site dining is limited to a McDonald’s with motorway-service price inflation, which is disappointing. - Exterior appearance: The car park and lorry park feel a bit brutalist and unattractive, though functional.

Comfortable and good value for money.
Pros: I met 3 staff who were all very friendly and welcoming. Room met all my requirements and location was good as I was travelling northbound on A74. TV was of a good standard and reception was good. Walk into Hamilton was pleasant through Strathclyde Country Park and only took 20 minutes to get to my destination.
Cons: I noticed that rooms are perhaps getting a bit dated but were clean and provided me with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I’m really struggling to criticise the accommodation for the price I paid and have stayed in worse places that have cost much more.
