Good location

Pros: Area was great and the bar and grill did not affect the quiet bedroom. The staff were very friendly

Staff lovely but bed and shower tiny and bed old

Pros: Staff were absolutely brilliant, very friendly and the breakfast was so nice.

Cons: The shower room was absolutely tiny the bed wasn't good, old sprung mattress and a small double . The staff were lovely though

Great location and good breakfast…made to feel very welcome.

Pros: Quality period hotel with excellent facilities and great staff.

Cons: We had a lovely corner room and only minor criticism was the size of en-suite facilities…very small.

Pros: The staff couldn't have done enough, they were really lovely and made our stay. The facilities are excellent, clean and spacious. Location is great - close to a train station or we got a taxi into Glasgow for around £17.

Pros: Room was nice however the shower was very bad. Breakfast was good but very slow services.

Cons: Quality of the shower was poor and speed of service in the morning foe breakfast was slow and had to chase staff up

Lovely hotel, ideal location for going into Glasgow.

Pros: Yes, I would recommend the OP, staff are all lovely and friendly. Best scrambled eggs ever!!

Cons: Our shower room was super tiny, shower head could do with being replaced.

Quiet and comfortable

Pros: Comfortable stay. Very quiet room considering above very busy pub. Good breakfast. Very nice person served breakfast and spoke to us about our trip. Great Italian delicatessen and restaurant just round the corner.

Cons: Shower over bath which is problematic for older people. No hand rails to hang onto when climbing out of bath. No fridge. Location not central so price tag of £143 on the more expensive side.
