Busby Hotel

Trip to the Busby Hotel was very worthwhile

Pros: The breakfast was superb with a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, juices and toast along with cooked items including requests for bespoke items, eg. poached eggs. The shower in our room was fantastic, instantly hot and very powerful. Location was useful for my work appointments and it was only a short walk to the railway station, local pubs and restaurants. EV chargers onsite was also helpful.

Cons: Bed was quite low

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff

Pros: Very friendly helpful staff - nothing was too much for them. We really liked the location of the hotel, the ease of parking, very nice shower, good reliable wi-fi. We also liked the inclusive breakfast rate - and the great breakfast.

Cons: Room was quite compact. The wooden bed base protruded and had sharp corners and we kept hitting our legs! We did not have many hangers - though I will admit that we did not ask for extra.

Cons: Just the Rice on my evening meal sent it back It was replaced The restaurant manager came over was very polite and apologised also reduced the bill Was very satisfied

Lovely hotel for a visit to nearby family

Pros: Clean recently refurbished. Rooms and bed were comfortable. Effective shower. Breakfast was great. On site parking

Stayed because in Busby for a funeral.

Pros: Staff, facilities, cleanliness and comfort all exceptional. Checking in receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast and dinner both good and dining room staff all good. System won't let me rate optional questions.

Cons: Have never before stayed in a hotel which charges per room rather than per person - completely understand about a single person paying the full amount for occupying a room meant for two but never before known a single person be expected to pay for two inclusive breakfasts. Also - never before been expected to pay for what are normally complimentary nibbles (chocolate and peanuts) in addition to the room charge.

Pros: Nice room, stayed in the Argyle suite. Staff very friendly. Clean room and very nice bathroom and shower.

Cons: Not that im complaining. However couple things to improve maye. Theres no door between the toilet and room. Little awkward. Secondly they use central heating and it comes on and off as an when. However it was not sufficient for this time of year. Room was freezing most of the night.

Pros: The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The hotel felt homely and warm.

Great work hotel

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Really nice bar and restaurant. Great breakfast. Friendly team

Cons: Previously had rooms that were noisy but this time was ok as on end of a corridor

Nice hotel, but sort out your breakfast service!

Pros: Lovely hotel and wedding venue and the staff very friendly apart from one!

Cons: The breakfast is very poor and lets the hotel down. The food was barely lukewarm on both days and the made to order eggs severely undercooked (the whites opaque and runny) each time. One older and very unkempt looking barman was unhelpful and just plain rude!!!
