A wonderful stay

Pros: The staff at reception were very friendly and made check in easy. The hotel is close to a supermarket and cafes which is handy. Also having a private car park was great. The room was comfortable and had everything you needed for a short stay. The cooked breakfast the next day was absolutely delicious!

Super clean

Pros: The hotel is spotlessly clean. Carpets evidently hoovered from corner to corner, not a speck of anything in the bathroom, no dust, no cobwebs ..super clean super happy Hairdryer extra pillows ironing facilities all provided in the room ALL staff were very cheerful

Cons: My only minus was I could not fully close the window (perhaps a ventilation feature) so I whacked the heating up to be toasty warm Not a spare socket close to bed to charge phone

The whole Burnside experience was one of pleasure.

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from reception to the bar and restaurant serving a good selection of well cooked and presented fresh food .The breakfast menu also had differing options including the full breakfast which was exceptional. The hotel was warm as outside was -3 and very clean as were the rooms .We will definitely be returning to THE BURNSIDE on future visits to Scotland

Pros: Location, good restaurant and very clean and nicely presented rooms

It was a really good stay

Pros: It was near where my neice got married and held the reception. Staff where really friendly. Could make your cup of coffee/ tea in your room. Room was really nice and warm

Pros: The breakfast was very reasonably priced and incredible. High quality food. The room was cosy and warm and the bed comfortable

Cons: There was some noise from the road, but we realised afterwards that the window was slightly open and it was very minor
