Crosshill House

Great place to stay.

Pros: If you're just looking for a bed for a night with easy access to the southside and the city centre, Crosshill House is hard to beat. No frills, but everything is done well.

Worth and will try again next time

Love the staff, cleaning ladies are amazing, they should be mentioned for doing a good job

ITS CHEAP AND CHEERFUL

Pros: Three of us went over from belfast to stay here as needed somewhere cheap and cheerful as going to family funeral. We arrived place is very dated but clean. Its true what they say you get what you pay for. For one thing it did the job for us as only needed somewhere get head down and make cup of coffee.

Cons: Nothing wrong as price shows that. Your looking somewhere cheap and bit dated loads of free parking to.

Now I know where I am going I shall use again. In fact booked for this weekend

Pros: Very friendly staff. I arrived late due to delay in sailing snd they were very understanding

Cons: It was difficult for me to find initially. Requested a room change as first was noisy and I have an early start in mornings but this request was fulfilled

Comfortable accommodation with a downside

Pros: Clean fresh and comfortable room with excellent shower, and tea and coffee provided. Easy on-site parking, and a short 5 minute walk to Crosshill rail station with frequent trains to city centre. Large screen t.v. and WiFi.

Cons: On arrival receptionist demanded passport or driving licence, and threatened to refuse accommodation if I failed to provide. I had neither as I was within my own country and had arrived by train. Also I had paid in advance on Booking and therefore my name, address, and credit card details were known. Situation was only resolved when I located a photo of my passport on my mobile. I question why this hotel takes this unnecessary stance when large hotel chains such as Travelodge or Premier Inn never make such a demand.

Cheap and cheerful clean and fresh accommodation with no frills

Pros: Incredibly good value budget accommodation for a South Side address. Room and environs were clean and well maintained. Spotless bathroom. Helpful at reception offering us the best available room for our needs.

Cons: Prefer a king size bed. Pert time reception could be a pain, but didn’t bother us.

Pros: Crosshill house is a brilliant place for us to stay when we go to Glasgow as its near family and our favourite places to go. The staff are fab and very helpful.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and place was kept clean and excellent housekeeping service.
