Grassmarket Old Town Boutique Apartment

A beautiful apartment in an amazing city :)

Pros: I absolutely loved my stay at this apartment. The decor was warm and inviting with quirky Scottish accents and the whole apartment was spotless. Towels were provided, tea, coffee, sugar. All cleaning products were provided, even washing powder. The area which it was located was perfect, plenty of restaurants and historical sites to visit and 5 mins walk to the main part of Edinburgh The owner even sent maps to various car parks before my stay which I was very grateful for. I hope to return to Edinburgh soon and fingers crossed that this apartment is available when I do.

Cons: A couple more pillows would be the only thing I would ask for if I stayed again.

Pros: Very close to attractions and dining options. Apartment was lovely with lots of Scottish detail which made it special. Great to have own cooking facilities with a well equipped kitchen. The detailed instructions on how to use the stove, microwave and washing machine were fantastic!

Cons: Unfortunately the bed was a little too soft for me (history of back, hip pain) but I'm sure would be fine for most.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment & Edinburgh is a great city to visit again but not in August.

Pros: The location is close to the Royal Mile, train station, Victoria St. & the Edinburgh Castle. And the apartment is very spacious & comfortable & homey. We enjoyed coming back to it after a busy day of sightseeing.

Cons: Didn’t realize the Fringe Festival was in August so everything was more expensive & more crowded. I would’ve chosen a different time if I had known about it.

Lovely apartment, great location

Pros: Lovely apartment with everything you needed in a great location. Comfy bed, quiet and windows you can open for warmer days/nights. Thank you for being so accommodating for us to drop our bags off earlier

Cons: Shower is very small over a bathtub, just mentioning this for older people or people who might find it difficult to step into a bathtub or larger people who might find it hard to shower with the shower curtain surrounding them.

Magical, cosy & convenient.

Pros: The location was just perfect! And the apartment was super quaint and cosy with amazing Scottish flares.

Cons: Everything was amazing so there is nothing really, but the smallest thing we can think of was that we ran out of toilet paper, paper towel and tissues so having backup supplies of those handy would have been even better.

Pros: Fantastic location, extremely clean. The property had everything you would need for a short or longer stay.

Great location, comfortable apt and accommodating hosts!

Pros: The location was perfect for our first visit to Edinburgh. Although it was above a pub, it was very quiet with the bedroom being to the back. The host were very accommodating to our special requests and we really appreciated that.

Cons: More dishes would have been nice and the pub exhaust was at the back bedroom at the same level as the window, we kept our window close when the exhaust was being used.

Pros: Highest of recommendations, perfect location, can't get better if you tried! Homely, comfortable, gorgeous apartment, clean, all provided, excellent service. You must do !!
