3 Bedrooms Flat in Central Edinburgh Old Town Sleeps 6

A comfortable stay, right in the heart of beautiful Edinburgh.

Pros: Excellent communication with proprietor Superb location Spacious Good facilities

Cons: The only problem for us was only having one key. When one member of the group of four wanted to go back early, we all had to go with her so that we could let her in and then put the key back in the key safe for when we got home, otherwise she would have been asleep and we wouldn’t have been able to get in. This meant paying extra taxi fares.

A cosy haven well located for strolling to historic sites and places of interest on a great bus route.

Pros: The flat is on the local city tour bus route we were able to find it easily. A lift and laundry services if required. Three great sized rooms with double beds and a sofa bed with a king size in the larger bedroom. A beautiful little market outside during the week and Saturdays. Close to the museum of Scotland as well as coffee shops, cafes, restaurants and retail shops. The property itself is in a safe and well placed location. Inside is clean and spacious for 6 people. We stayed for one night and it allowed us to be together in a lovely space with television, games or books if you need them.

Cons: It was challenging to sit together with only one large sofa and a sweet velvet chair but we were ok for one night.

Pros: Great location and very comfortable. Worked perfectly for our needs.

We had an enjoyable stay

Pros: Property was very well positioned with lovely views of the Main Street, the owner had left a variety of supplies, snacks, drinks etc. which was very welcome The owners where very accommodating and communication excellent

Cons: The apartment was a little tired and in need of updating, the apartment block was residential and all residents we encountered at all times of the day had quite obviously been drinking or/and smoking something other than cigarettes, which left us feeling a little uneasy at times, especially my 83 year old mum. Just the one bathroom was at times chaotic for 5 adults

Pros: Spacious and very central. Enough room for our family of 5 (teen kids).

Cons: As it’s right in the town centre, it can get a little loud from the crowds outside (tourists mostly). At night it gets quieter and sleeping wasn’t a problem for us.

It was a fantastic stay. Host was helpful.

Pros: It was great that we can make our own breakfast. There is a little food shop nearby, that was handy. Location was excellent! We were right below the Castle. Surrounded by restaurant, bar and take away shops..

Cons: Nothing!

Edinburgh

Pros: Very comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the crisps and iron brew.

Cons: You forgot to set up a sofa bed, but our extra guest slept on the sofa and it was ok.

Nice Apartment

Pros: The host was helpful, the apartment had tea, coffee, and suggestions about things to do in the area. I think I even saw an adapter. This would be a nice apartment for a group of friends staying more than one night.

Cons: There was only one bathroom / shower for three bedrooms.

It is a perfect flat for family or big group of friends. Great location.

Pros: The layout of the flat is great. The check-in was really easy. The flat was clean and cozy, we had everything we needed.

Cons: In the night it can be a little bit loud. You can here people and cars from the street but it is really close to the centre, so we get it.
