Anchor Hotel and Seabed Restaurant

On Scotland’s beautiful western coast, the Anchor Hotel and Seabed Restaurant in Tarbert provides luxurious accommodation and fine Scottish breakfasts. Great stay with lovely staff and looked after very well

Pros: Delicious dinner followed by a good nights sleep with a great breakfast to follow in the morning. Comfortable clean room and a good bathroom with a fantastic shower. Staff were very friendly and even though we had an issue with payment it was easily sorted over the phone with no issue at all. Recommend to everyone

Nice little hotel

Pros: The room was very nice (Room 4 if my memory serves me right) with nice bed and shower etc. The hotel overall was very good with a lovely breakfast. Bicycles were safely stored at the back of the hotel with access via the fire escape rear door. Carrying the panniers upstairs was no problem. Carpet on the stairs was dirty but this we were told was due to a town festival . staff all very nice, friendly and efficient. The town is very nice with plenty of cafes and restaurants. A nearby general store (COOP ?) and post office. Ferry was not too far away.

Cons: Dirty stair carpet but this will be cleaned (said the staff member).

Pros: Great location on the harbour, good room and fab restaurant, we enjoyed our meal and drinks. Staff helpful and friendly.

Perfect for the overnight break in our journey.

Pros: Decent clean room and bathroom. The food was excellent, both the evening meal and breakfast. No problems getting gluten free options. Staff bey friendly.

Central hotel with nice view and good value

Pros: Great view towards the harbour. Some little shops around. Good restaurant, staff well informed about food allergies. Easy on street parking.
