Crinan Hotel

Amazing hotel, would definitely visit again

Pros: Fantastic views. Really nice food. Rooms were quiet and clean. Staff were all around very welcoming and helpful.

Pros: The food at the Crinan Hotel was absolutely delicious. The staff very friendly and welcoming. The owner is a fabulous painter and her work is displayed on the walls of the hotel. She also has a exhibition area upstairs.

A gem of a hotel

Pros: Our stay at the Crinan Hotel was wonderful. The view from our spacious and comfortable bedroom was out of this world. The hotel may be a little tired in decor, but this did not detract from our stay. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our evening meal was exceptional. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and well cooked. A perfect peaceful and restful escape, we would love to return.

Great place for dinner and overnight stay

Pros: The location, large room and comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing major but some of the decor is a little dated (breakfast room). I was served beautiful langoustines but was surprised they were served hot, particularly with aïoli. I have never that before and anyway, by the time you are halfway through they are cold. I would have enjoyed them a lot more out of the fridge. Breakfast on the other hand wasn’t very hot.

A brilliant place to stay from the lovely staff, comfortable room, the views and the excellent food.

Pros: I liked everything about the property. The owner and the staff were wonderful. The position could not have been better. Right on the much and the canal. The hotel was convenient to everything I wanted to see. The restaurant and breakfast were excellent. The bed so comfortable and the room well appointed. I highly recommend this hotel.

Cons: There was nothing I did not like about this hotel.

Bliss

Pros: In a world of corporate sameness and average this hotel is individual, friendly and a real tonic for the soul.
