Comfortable and restful.

Pros: No food was being served at the property but a three minute walk took you to another Muthu property serving food. Location was good around ten minutes to the the heart of town but nice and quiet at the hotel.

Cons: Minor thing but if you required telly it couldn't be angled down thus giving a dark picture as with modern sets when not looked straight on.

Pros: We enjoyed the room itself and the staff were lovely * friendly. The only problem I found was a very strong smell of sewage in the corridor outside my room . I couldn't smell it in other corridors except outside our rooms. and a couple of rooms sharing the same corridor as us , I bet can verify this.

Cons: The strong smell of sewage outside my room.

Pros: I arrived at 10.30pm in the pouring rain and my jacket was soaked and I was wind swept. On arrival I found my room to be cold but this due to me being caught in heavy rain. The guy at reception was great and gave me an extra duvet and I slept very well both nights of my stay. He also filled my water with tap water which I had asked for. The next day I saw some sights and had a hot lunch in a cafe nearby and later a hot dinner in a cafe near the station. So food was not an issue. On my second evening had a TV that worked which was great and a hot shower was available which I didn't use. For privacy this was a great stay as I had stayed in a hostel in rannock before. I had also bought some food from tesco for breakfast. The staff were fantastic and coming and going from the hotel was no problem. There is a hot radiator in bathroom which is very great.The hotel is on the seafront but my room on the ground floor faxed a back garden.

Cons: The hotel doesn't serve food at the moment but there is coffee, hot chocolate and tea provided in the room. The mirror was oversized for the room.

Lovely staff and great location

Pros: Receptionist was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. We really enjoyed talking with her. It's a bit out of the way of the noise in the city, but still a nice view. Love that they have an elevator, but...

Cons: In room 45 that elevator is incredibly loud and intrusive

Great value and room with a sea view

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms was a good size with sea view even though it was located in the annex at the back of the hotel.

Enjoyable stay accessible to centre

Pros: Lovely comfortable room that had recently been renovated. Very friendly reception staff. Easy flat walk to centre of Oban and port

Cons: Noisy lift. No restaurant currently due to renovations

Weekend in Oban

Pros: Very friendly staff, good location, easy parking, clean room with very good facilities

Cons: Given wrong door key into someone else's room to begin with. Very embarrassing! Soon resolved though and given different room. Staff did come to our room to check my booking, which made me feel uncomfortable.

Excellent, staff very helpful.

Pros: The view from the room was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room had many ameneties. Vanessa at reception was extremely helpful with the requests we had.
