A very pleasant stay, Immaculate lodgings. Helpful owners and an excellent breakfast.

Pros: The accommodation was excellent. The hosts very pleasant and helpful. The location was only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The park surroundings were very pleasant and the breakfast was plentiful.

Cons: We had nothing to complain about at all. We hope to return one day.

Great stay at the old mill

Pros: Spotless great location 30 seconds to a park great for kids or taking your dog for a walk 5 minutes walk to the town centre peaceful location no noise Gillian is a wonderful host and does a mean breakfast very dog friendly wish we could have stayed longer great location not far from Glasgow or Edinburgh or the borders can't fault anything

A Perfect Home from Home with Nothing Lacking

Pros: Absolutely super stay here; the room was very spacious, well decorated and pristine (photograph la do not do it justice.) The bathroom was a good size, well equipped and again pristine. Facilities were outstanding including a well stocked hospitality tray, good coffee, tea and hot chocolate etc. The added bonus of good quality dog blankets, towels and bowls plus treats and other essentials really added to the overall value. Breakfast was also excellent, good selection and well cooked and the hosts could not have been kinder or more helpful. We won’t be staying in Edinburgh again, we’ll stay here and drive in. We couldn’t fault a thing - thank you 👌
