Loved our stay here. Beautiful location, lovely staff. Cozy room. Excellent breakfast.

A warm, friendly and happy stay at the Ormidale.

Pros: Lovely old house in a great location in Brodick, the bar is well used by locals and visitors alike, ensuring a very nice atmosphere. Room was warm and spotlessly clean, all staff were very friendly and attentive.

Cons: Couple of minor defects in the bathroom, due to a busy summer period drawing to an end, I'm sure these will be rectified ready for 2026 main season.

Secluded stunning hotel surrounded by an ancient woodland.

Pros: The hotel is set in an ancient woodland with some the tress I would guess being well over 200 years old. That in itself sets the hotel out from all the others in Brodick. The bar meals are very good and plentiful. Rooms are spacious and the ensuite shower is one that you don't want to get out of. The hotel is about 200 yards from the main road so its very quiet and peaceful. Great selection of ales and whiskey in the bar. Breakfast ranges from a full Scottish breakfast to kippers and toast. Staff are very knowledgeable about the area, so please do ask them any question regarding things to do and places to go. What a great stay and cant wait to get back.
