Would return, food was lovely, dinner & buffet style breakfast.

Pros: Good location, spacious rooms, clean & well equipped.

Cons: Draft coming through bottom of doors / window & could hear the wind loudly.

Pros: I liked how dog friendly the place was, my wee dog Reggie absolutely loved his stay. All the staff were super friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean.

Pleasant and Relaxing

Pros: The hotel was beautiful unfortunately the spa facilities were closed on our stay as was the main restaurant. This did not stop us from having a lovely stay. The food and service were both excellent the hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms where very comfortable. I would definitely return.

Cons: There wasn’t alot around the hotel to do apart from walks on the beach. We were happy to do that, might not be for everyone though.

Beautiful views

Pros: We booked a sea view room which was beautiful. The jacuzzi bath was most welcome after a long day.

Cons: The breakfast was okay. The warm food was only just warm and buffet style rather than served hot from the kitchen, the eggs tasted powdered.

Lovely view from room.

Pros: As the restaurant was closed for refurbishment we went to a dining room which was ok. Staff friendly . View from room great , size of room good.

Cons: Buffet style breakfast not always hot Fruit selection wasn't always replenished. Dogs in restaurant is a big no for us., not keen on sitting eating with a dog next to you.. Dogs barking at 7.30 in the morning. Restaurant closed off which is a pity. Loose plug in bath so took forever to fill the bath.

A very pleasant hotel which overlooks the sea - a nice play to stay!

Pros: This was our second time staying at The Waterside Hotel and it was a very pleasant stay once again. It was unfortunate that it was incredibly windy, as we weren't able to leave the balcony doors open for long but the room is really nice, massive in size and a television with music and streaming apps. Our stay included breakfast.

Cons: There was nothing particularly that we didn't like, but it was a shame we missed the spa being open by a week or so! I believe it's currently undergoing renovation works. The breakfast was pleasant, but the Eggs Benedict was nicer the last time we stayed as it had bacon on it previously as opposed to cold meat this time round. Still very nice though, and nice coffee too!
