Brisbane House Hotel

I took my friend for her 71st birthday she had a great time.

Pros: Hotel was lovely . location spot on . Staff lovely .

Cons: Hotel room was beautiful. But cold Don’t get me wrong as soon as I mention it the girl at reception was on it right away and she put the heating on . Made a big difference room was lovely and cosy .. Had a great sleep 😴. Will definitely be going back.

Loved it except for the room which was beautiful but too cold.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful but the room was freezing. The breakfast was amazing along with the staff. Would be good to be able to get something to eat when you returned back to hotel.

Cons: A cold room. Had to put our costs over us to keep warm

Gorgeous hotel, friendly staff

Pros: Absolutely stunning hotel, staff at reception were lovely and welcoming. Room was modern, clean and well furnished. Bathroom was also lovely and ring light mirror was a helpful touch.

Cons: Breakfast was a little slow, I had to ask three times for someone to take my order. I had eggs Benedict which was fairly mediocre at best. It was not overly busy in the room for breakfast, more than one person but the rest of the staff were having a meeting at a table and one girl running around serving everyone.

A very relaxing break, eventually.

Pros: The staff were first class, particularly Lauren on reception. More of that later. Our breakfast was first class with a wide variety available. Our room was excellent, eventually, with lovely sea front views.

Cons: Our initial room, No. 206, was classified as a deluxe sea view double. It was very small with a good view of a neighbouring NHS car park. The sea view could be obtained by going about six or seven feet down a very narrow corridor, one person at a time, not enough room for two people at once. Personally I found it described as a sea view stretching a point. We called reception to make our feelings known and the previously mentioned Lauren sorted it out to our satisfaction by offering another room. Perhaps other guests checking in should check if it's 206

Pleasant hotel in a convenient location.

Pros: Clean. Professional and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable room. Sea front location close to town centre.

Cons: Evening meals are not provided. There are pubs and cafes nearby. There is a bar available in the evenings which offers a good range of cocktails.

Grt hotel in grt location

Pros: Booked twin room and in arrival was given a double. Reception was exceptional at resolving the issue and assisted with room move. Hats off to James the barman who created fab cocktail and helpfully resolved room heating issue. Breakfast was lovely and had beautiful view. All staff very friendly. Nicely decorated hotel in grt location.

A beautiful hotel, in a very central location with great comfort, style and excellent staff.

Pros: We love the hotel for it's location. We can walk straight out to the beach front, ferry and restaurants. The hotel has been modernised throughout and still has that very fresh and new feel to it. It is comfortable with great beds and the style and decore are beautiful. The staff are always very helpful and on hand with a great knowledge of the area to recommend places to go.

Cons: The only downside we found was no bottles of water in the room which for this level of hotel we expect, especially when you book an executive room. However, the staff did offer to bring water to the room on request. The only other thing was the bathroom comforts. While the bathroom is very modern and stylish, there were no towel rails to hang a hand towel or bath towel. No loo brush in case you need to clean a little. And the sink area, while it has a great mirror for doing your makeup and or shaving, it has no area around it to sit anything. Its a sink that is suitable for a downstairs wc.

Pros: Great location across from the Esplanade. Clean and comfortable room and bed was comfy too. Great breakfast. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.
