Pros: Everything! Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful cottage, beautiful views, beautiful wildlife. Perfect secluded winter getaway!

Comfortable, Cosy Cottage with an Exceptional View!

Pros: Elspeth was a wonderful host and the property was lovely, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The location is perfect and the view from the patio alone is worth the trip let alone the locality of Loch Awe. Highly would recommend and hopefully return again!

Cons: Nothing to dislike. The shower could be slightly more powerful but that really doesn’t take away at all from the overall experience.

Gorgeous cottage in stunning, peaceful location with a wonderful host

Pros: This is a gorgeous cottage in a remote location very close to the shores of Loch Awe - wonderful views. The property is clean, spacious and extremely comfortable - the beds in particular - with all the facilities you need. Elspeth is a wonderful host - there was a welcome pack waiting for us on arrival and she popped round for a chat and gave us some excellent tips regarding supplies and things to do. Although we weren't able to make much use of it due to the weather, the garden and decking were lovely, such a peaceful location.

Cons: Not a fault as such and nothing that can be done about it, but worth bearing in mind that this is a remote location and getting anywhere involves driving via a single track road alongside the loch - very picturesque but might be a bit fraught for nervous drivers! The stunning views and peaceful surroundings more than make up for it though...

Pros: Cottage was exactly what we wanted, very comfortable, spacious and great views, home away from home. With having own water supply it was really brown, but wasn't a big problem to buy our own water.

Cons: It was a distance away from any other towns, so had to travel a good bit to get anywhere, and roads were single tracked in and out of cottage for miles.

Pros: Perfect location to get away from it all. Lovely walk about 15 to 20 minutes down to the loch for swimming. Very quiet and peaceful. Quite a bit far out from any facilities, so do all your shopping before and car is a must.
