Forest View Guesthouse

Pros: We were met by Sarah on arrival, she had just finished baking cookies for us. Sarah gave us advice on good places to eat. Her recommendations were spot on The rooms were quite large, the beds and pillows very comfortable. This is by far the nicest accommodation we've stayed in during our trip through Scotland with the nicest hosts.

Comfy Guesthouse with attention to detail

Pros: We had the lovely room in the attic. It was comfy, clean and decorated with attention to detail. We arrived a bit late in the dark walking the West Highland Way, and Sarah & Jack checked in with us via Whatsapp, which we appreciated. Everything was ready upon arrival. The breakfast was delicious and again with attention to detail and some options, not the usual common place ingredients. This guesthouse is great!

Cons: Really nothing to complain.

Pros: I had the unique experience of staying during a storm. Sarah and Jack were phenomenal. When the power went out they came and made sure that the guests had a torch and were comfortable. They brought hot water and had a fire. I can only say they just went above and beyond to ensure my comfort in an unusual situation. Breakfast was wholesome and healthy which I greatly appreciate. Although controversial, I loved having chia seeds as an option. I haven't had any since I was in Canada.

A must stop off accommodation on the west Highland way.

Pros: The house was beautifully decorated throughout and spotlessly clean. Our room was very comfortable and there was a drying room which did a great job on our soaking boots and clothes. The location is perfect if you're doing the West Highland way as it's the first accommodation you come to in the village. Sarah, who owns the property, is lovely. She made chocolate biscuits for when we arrived and sent us on our way the following day, with pastries.

Cons: We disliked nothing. Even though we had a shared bathroom, the accommodation is small and homely so it didn't bother us.

Pros: Lovely hosts, very helpful advice on food services, weather and drying our wet gear. Lovely apartment

Pros: Great communication from Sarah and Jack. Excellent room and breakfast.

Generally excellent place to stay

Pros: Great location (pretty much on the West Highland Way), very helpful accommodating hosts (provided access to a dry room to dry out soggy shoes!)

Excellent stay, I’d happily stay again.

Pros: Really comfortable bed, well furnished and tasty breakfast. It’s literally on the West Highland Way

Cons: I’d prefer to have an en-suite rather than shared bathroom.

Pros: Everything was great. We booked at short notice and Sarah gave us recommendations for the local area. The room was very nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Sarah gave us lots more tips for exploring the wider area before we left. 10/10!
