Orchy Bank House

A fantastic picturesque stopping off point in the Scottish highlands

Pros: Fantastic location, friendly owner, great food (homemade croissants!), otter and ducks outside, very comfortable room.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Orchy Bank House.

Pros: Orchy Bank House is a wonderful place to stay. It is a well maintained house with character and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and our en-suite had a large walk in shower. It has a large lounge for its guests. Our breakfasts were very tasty.

Cons: There was nothing that we disliked about this property.

Pros: The entire location was beautiful. My Room was perfect. I would recommend this inn to anyone traveling in the area. Breakfast was amazing, I had the eggs benedict.

Pros: Fabulous stay, lovely warm welcome and absolutely delicious breakfast. It's in a lovely spot next to the river, with a fantastic view from the room. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Possibly the best Bed & Breakfast we have stayed in, ever. Orchy Bank House is in a quiet location, and the charm of the older building is there to see as you arrive. Once inside, the B&B has been completely renovated, offering modern comforts and warmth. The room was spacious, with a very nice bathroom and comfy bed, and a view of the ducks in the garden while having our morning coffee. The location is a little remote, so you will need to drive to get your dinner, but the added value of the peace and quiet nearby balances that out. Our host was very caring and attentive, offering lots of help on what to do and see nearby. The breakfast the following morning was also fantastic. We highly recommend this B&B and will visit again!

Cons: Our twin room ( with external bathroom) was quite small so not much space to open cases, bags.

Pros: Beautifully furnished room. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Hotel in stunning location by the river. Really appreciated all the little touches such as fresh milk for drinks and decaffeinated tea bags being available downstairs. Excellent selection of food for breakfast, all beautifully cooked.

Cons: Easy to hear other guests through the walls.

Pros: Easy check in. Exceptionally clean throughout, and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast, with the added bonus of seeing all the ducks feeding outside the window. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again and would very highly recommend Orchy Bank House.

Cons: Nothing about the property, only inconsiderate guests who were banging about and talking loudly until just before midnight, waking us 3 times which was a shame.
