Pros: Our host, John, was just wonderful. He takes pride in producing an absolutely wonderful breakfast, including porridge made to demand, a cooked breakfast, other odds and ends, such as cereals, and we watched red squirrels playing a few feet away while we ate it! We also left a Watch behind by accident which he brought to meet us at the station platform a few days later on our way back from the West Highland Way. What a wonderful host and a lovely warm and comfortable house!

Pros: Perfect stop off on our way north. Especially thrilled by the red squirrels easily visible from the house on the bird feeder. Host particularly helpful as all evening meal options in Crianlarich were unavailable and was able to give alternative options.

Post canoe trip overnight

Pros: A lovely welcome from John, the proprietor The rooms were pleasantly warm The accommodation was immaculate and clean. Breakfast... a FULL full breakfast to choose from as well as cereals, toast and a selection of toppings John was absolutely great at arranging us a taxi when required. A perfect host
