Comfortably adventurous

Pros: Melissa was very welcoming and accommodating. The bed was comfy and the views from the window across the lake into the Arrochar Alps were stunning. The walk to the B&B from the train station along the hill path was dreamy and there was also a bus stop with access to and from Glasgow with West Coast Motors. Many munros are accessible on foot from the B&B within a winter's day.

Cons: West Coast Motors, the bus company that took us from Arrochar to Glasgow, aren't listed on Google Maps, so check their timetable independently when journey planning

Pros: A proper b&b: great brekkie, great location and great price. Staff were also very welcoming and accommodating (the host even gave me a protein snickers to see me off on my way up the hill!). Highly recommend!

Character, historic accommodation in great location

Pros: Lovely friendly host. Cute room, historic building, everything we needed. Loch views, lovely scenery. Excellent breakfast

Cons: Bathroom was a little tired, could do with a refresh.

Great little place to stop for a night on your travels through Scotland.

Pros: Really nice host, great view, the breakfast was lovely and the room was clean.

Cons: Bathroom was a bit cramped but it’s not a huge deal as everything was clean, which was more important.

Pros: Lovely friendly hosts and a fantastic location on the lochside. Breakfast was great, room comfortable if a little quirky. Nice pubs and bistro around the Loch.

Cons: Shower tepid, parking tight if you have a big car. Twin room a little awkward to get to if you are tall. All very minor things.

Nice place with delicious breakfast and beautiful view!

Pros: The place is really cozy and cute. The owners are very friendly. The traditional English breakfast was one of the best I've ever had! The bedroom with an en-suite bathroom was clean and comfortable. There was a kettle, a hairdryer, and an absolutely amazing view of the lake.

Cons: This place is a traditional English cottage located by the lake, which means it's quite humid inside. It's not a major inconvenience, but it's something to keep in mind.

A good place to stop

Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Location is on a main road but still slept well as at night it’s quiet.Very handy for nearby pub and restaurants and wonderful view. The room was fine.

Cons: Shower was only tepid and rather a weak flow A.
