A perfect retreat in every way.

Pros: I can thoroughly recommend Doune Duck Ponds Accommodation. It feels homely with a touch of luxury but is also incredibly friendly and welcoming. The bed and bedding is extremely comfortable. Every attention to detail has been thought of. Perfect.

Pros: Beautiful immaculate suite, so clean and comfortable. The Host was a joy to be around, so funny and couldn't do enough for you. So many little touches to the room, chocolate, fruit and fresh milk. The little town is quaint and has ever kind of shop you could possibly want. And the Castle is only a 10 min walk away. I went as a guest but feel like I made a friend in Liz and will definitely be staying again.

Cons: Nothing it was more then I expected

Pros: Room is actually almost a small apartment, with a sitting room, bathroom and bedroom. Even comes with a cat... just like my bedroom at home really! No breakfast as such but the owner supplies cereal and things for a light meal, and is happy to microwave anything brought in if you need it.

Overnight stay

Pros: Large comfortable room, and clean. Good location, plenty of snacks provided. Owner friendly and helpful,

It was really a suite, 2 rooms plus shower room. My host was really friendly and chatty. Excellent

Pros: The in-room breakfast was excellent on day 1 and even better on day 7 but I needed to remind my host when the items ran out.

Pros: What excellent value a living room as well as a bedroom. The bed is probably the best l have ever slept in.So many thoughtful extras like snacks and fruit. The property is very well situated near a nature reserve and close to the delightful town. The castle is a very nice walk away. All in all a marvelous place to stay. Recommend very highly

Pros: The accommodation was spotlessly clean. very comfortable bed with high quality bedding. The landlady was very friendly and helpful whilst giving you privacy.

Cons: The accommodation is part of the landlady's home, There is no private entery . I think this should be in the details on Booking .com.

Absolutely the best B&B in this price range I've been in had everything and more

Pros: The extras, fridge, snacks, cereal et al, the extra living room / space off the bedroom itself, made it feel like a mini apartment not just a bedroom, absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated and interior touches oozed class, best B&B I've ever stayed in hands down and for the price charged I'd return in a heartbeat

Cons: Like every curved sliding door shower I've encountered they only open wide enough for a size six model to get in or out comfortably

Pros: Absolutely first class facilities!! Perfect confectionary which covered breakfast and cooked my dinner in home microwave. Couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Bed was luxurious and comfortable, slept well.
