Crannaig House

Pros: Everything about it was amazing, the grounds the staff, the wildlife, the food and the beds.. absolute bliss. So clean and cozy there was nothing I could fault.

Cons: Nothing (well that i had to leave)

Pros: Our room was sumptuous, comfy ,and immaculately clean. Warm, exceptionally hospitable hosts served us a delicious dinner & breakfast using top quality produce. Beautifully decorated interior surrounded by stunning scenery exterior.

Pros: Wonderful accommodation in the owner's house. Excellent breakfast and, above all, perfect dinners prepared according to your wishes by your host – definitely not to be missed. Pleasant seating in the host's private bar.

Exceptional experience, will definitely be returning.

Pros: Very beautifully presented bedroom and communal areas. Gardens and hot tub lovely.

Cons: Having to leave it so soon!

A fantastic stay with Shaun, faultless

Pros: Shaun had set up a fantastic facility, the house is amazing inside with so much space. Our room was huge and had fantastic views over the wooded grounds. Bed/bedding was extremely comfy with the added touches of luxury with a Nespresso machine and Highland soaps. Really great breakfast while watching the hundreds of small wild birds on the feeders. We were walking the Rob Roy Way and Shaun gave us some tips and we were able to see the waterfall and a red squirrel just up the hill from the house. Many thanks

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Crannaig House, can't rate it highly enough. Shaun and Kate are absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. The house is beautiful, our room was perfect, hot tub was incredible and breakfast was delish. The house is in a great location for exploring Aberfoyle and the surrounding area, will for sure visit again.

Brilliant stay

Pros: Crannaig house is so nice and sweet, it was our first day in Scotland and that was perfect start of our trip! I liked the house itself and our room. Everything is extremely clean, new, quality linen, big fluffy towels, soaps, cream and shampoo by Scottish natural Highland Soap company. We also got a sweet present, homemade here in Aberfoyle. Please don’t hesitate to have breakfasts and dinner at Crannaig House, because Shaun is excellent cook and everything was so delicious! Also Shaun gave us some suggestions for our rout. Thank you very much and best wishes!

A wonderful place, with superb hosts.

Pros: Shaun and Kate are superb hosts who simply cannot do enough for you. The food (breakfast and dinner) was very high quality, and the room (we had the top floor), was spectacular. I can't recommend them enough.

Pros: The property was to the highest of standards and positioned in a lovely tranquil spot which is exactly what we were looking for. The hosts could not have done enough for us. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced for the quality soI would recommend having dinner when you visit. The bed was so comfy and the best nights sleep I have had I a long time. And all round great visit and I look forward too next time
