Comfy room, close to transport and pubs with helpful staff

Pros: Great room on ground floor of well-located guest house a short walk from the train station. Ideal for one person, but two people with large suitcases might want to try a larger room. Clear check-in instructions. Wonderful whisky bar, The Curly Coo, on the corner. When I stupidly left something in the room, staff were very helpful posting it back to me.

Cons: Sometimes it got a wee bit cold, but I didn't want to mess with the thermostat.

Pros: Clean, spacious, comfy beds. Only 5 minutes walking distance from the train and bus stations. Top customer service!

Cosy and charming.

Pros: Sometimes when a studio has a kitchen, it is a bit minimally equipped... not here! I really appreciated everything: having some food containers so that one can easily pack lunch for a hike is wonderful. Other accommodation providers should take note!

Cons: Hard to think of anything suboptimal.

Style, elegance and comfort in the middle of Stirling.

Pros: The property was beautiful, modern and very tastefully decorated. It was very central and the instructions I received were centralised and succinct. The management team were thoughtful and followed up on every query I had.

Great location, brilliant for kids, but no adequate bag storage

Pros: Lovely apartment, perfect for families. In a really ideal location, really close to the train station, the shops and also the castle and old town jail. There's even a really nice park at the the top of the street that my daughter loved. She loved the bunk beds too and said it was like Harry Potter!

Cons: We weren't able to store our luggage, which was a real pain for us, and I might have booked somewhere else if I'd known about this prior to booking. Check out is at 10am which is early, and we would have liked to have left our backpacks in the hall cupboard and returned later to pick them up. I was told I couldn't leave them later than 11.30am, because of the key system, which for us was a bit pointless. There was also a strange low volume buzzing sound, which we never managed to work out the source of! Wasn't enough to cause diruption to sleep but was a bit odd.

Pros: The apartment was nicely presented and provided a comfortable stay for a reasonable price. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Also, the fact that we were able to watch the golf with the included sky subscription was a nice bonus.

Cons: The pump for the shower drainage is on the loud side.

Pros: The view is incredible. Loved the property. The key code access was easy especially if you read the manual they send you.

Cons: We were on top floor sleeps 4 with a kitchen but seating with kids for eating was a challenge. We made the best of it by having picnics on the floor. Also parking is quite far away

Pros: Lots of modern quality equipment and a very comfortable apartment in a central location handy for all main Sterling tourist destinations.

Cons: We were only there a short while so all our requirements were met.
