Excellent family sized lodge/cabin to get you back to nature!
Pros: Loved the position of the cabin, adult children loved the hot tub even though it was raining but as they were under shelter, it didn’t bother them at all. Beds were so comfortable, all utensils in the kitchen that you would need. Had the log burner on a couple of times and that gave us a cosy feeling in the evenings.
Cons: The only negative points are no towels provided so had to take many with us for 5 adults and extras for the hot tub. Spent an afternoon in the laundrette washing and drying towels! The other negative is very minor, one morning, we could hear scratching coming from the log burner chute then suddenly a little chaffinch appeared actually in the main burner. Luckily the fire hadn’t been used up to then so apart from bits of ash on it, we managed to get it out and release outside, so I would kindly ask the owner if a mesh can be put over the chimney part on the roof to stop it happening again to another animal. As we are approaching colder evenings, I would assume the log burner will be used more so a poor little bird wouldn’t stand a chance falling in to the main part.

Very relaxing and a beautiful place and cabin and hot tub. Stunning scenery.
Pros: The cabin was situated in a very beautiful area on the banks of lock awe. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was lovely. The hot tub was excellent and had a roof for when it rained. There were walks nearby to waterfalls locally which were lovely when the weather was nice.
Cons: Unfortunately the weather was bad for several days and there is very little to do at these times. The cabin is very remote and you need to drive for 30mins on very narrow windy roads to reach civilization. There is a small shop which sells limited resources but Oban is an hour away for any other provision.
