Blarghour Farm Cottages Overlooking Loch Awe

Excellent property in an outstanding location. Peaceful, scenic, could sit and look at the view all day!

Pros: An exceptionally lovely bungalow in the most stunning location. We were in the upper property. Excellent contact with Catriona and everything was thought of for our stay including a lovely Christmas tree. House really warm and cosy, rooms especially the kitchen kitted out with everything you need. The views from the lounge and conservatory were beautiful with magnificent sunsets. Morning tea in bed with the same view. The other side of the property has a super view too up the hillside with sheep, a red squirrel and birds. Walking from the house up the hill (keep to the track, or it’s very boggy but fun) takes you to a great view of more of Loch Awe. Would highly recommend and hope to return one day.

Cons: Nothing. Loved it.

For a relaxed, short break, I cannot recommend this highly enough. We will be back.

Pros: Lovely location. everything in the cottage was spotlessly clean and whole property was to a very high specification. We were with my elderly mother-in-law (poor mobility) and the sun lounge was a hit, comfortable, cosy and a beautiful view over the Loch. There were three steps into the cottage, but also a solid hand rail. Wooden floors in the public areas made it easy for her to get around with her walker. This was our first trip since my father-in-law passed away a few months ago and the cottage was just perfect for what we needed.

Cons: No complaints at all.

A really comfortable, excellently equipped place to stay in the heart of a truly beautiful part of the world.

Pros: Beautiful peaceful location with amazing views Immaculately clean and really comfortable Fully equipped kitchen with everything we could need Catriona was a welcoming and helpful host offering great suggestions of places to visit and eat. I was a little concerned before we came that we might feel too isolated but the single track road beside the lake is well surfaced and a beautiful drive. We had great days out in Inverary (castle well worth a visit) Oban, walked Tarbert - Skipness, loved the Crinan canal and fabulous boat trip between the islands with Seafari from Easdale.

Excellent and comfortable property at an amazing location

Pros: We had an amazing week at the property and in the Loch Awe area in general. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything a family needs. We definitely will return again.

Pros: L'endroit, l'espace dans et autour de la maison, la vue, le calme. Hôte sympa et réactive.

Cons: La route menant à la nationale est très longue et cela prend au moins 30' pour être sur la route principale!

Pros: De locatie is prachtig. Ruim huis met mooie ruime keuken waarin alles aanwezig was. Mooie retro meubels. Comfortabele bedden.Super vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Cons: Ook de bank was retro, en zakte iets door.
