Brilliant stay. Excellent house and great location. Host was very accommodating

Pros: The house is absolutely huge and has all the facilities you would need for a comfortable stay in Edinburgh. In an absolutely great location which is handy for getting around the town. The host was also very helpful, accommodating and quick to respond to all of the queries that we had about the property.

Cons: Everything was great. No complaints at all.

Cons: There was a small issue with one of the ceilings above the shower leaking

Pros: The house was huge with many stairs and levels, nicely decorated & complete with amenities.

Cons: Did not expect there were 3 levels of rooms in the house.

Cons: There were only 2 showers which isn’t many when there are 12 people

Pros: Lots of space across 3 floors, gorgeous home, we really enjoyed our group stay. The living room had plenty of space and a fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. Would recommend for groups.

Pros: perfect location to walk into Edinburgh and close to the station. Big house and plenty of room

Cons: It was very cold when we arrived but John came to sort that when asked.

Beautiful charming old house perfect for large groups

Pros: A beautiful old house with so much charm and character spread over three floors. The rooms are large and comfortable, check in process was easy and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need for a few days stay with a large group. The rooms are separated enough to feel private even if you’re all staying in one property.

Cons: Windows very thin so a bit cold in some of the rooms. The bathrooms need better toilets and showers, especially the upstairs shower. It’s a shame some of the carpets are getting so worn down in such a beautiful property. Maybe providing house shoes could avoid this. The Wi-Fi didn’t work on the top or the second floor which was fine for one evening but if we had been there longer it would have been a problem.

Pros: Amazing location. Spacious and elegant. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating, he went above and beyond for us as our flights delayed.

Pros: I loved the quirkiness and the location, exactly what you needed around you and within close distance. John was fantastic 👏

Cons: The water pressure and the bathroom facilities. New showers need to be installed with a house that size and the reason for booking being that you have a large party size the bathrooms should reflect this. It should be able to provide the two bathrooms with showers that are good quality and this is the only thing that is letting this property down.
