New Town Guest House (Adults Only)

Lovely house in the nicest area, away enough from tourist areas.

Pros: Nice residential area close to Stockbridge cafes, restaurants and stores. Very easy to get around from here. The room was nice and warm, with tea and tv. We enjoyed very much our stay in Endinburgh

Cons: Nothing, I would love to stay here again if I’d come back one day.

Great experience, good value for money.

Pros: Everything was superb. The person who welcomed us was extremely friendly, upgraded our room for one with a bathroom inside the room instead of an external one. Location is fairly central with transportation links nearby. Room was clean and comfortable, definitely good value for money. There was even a view to the back garden, which was quite lovely.

Cons: Only thing is that the room was a bit chilly for my liking, I would definitely bring some warmer clothes if staying here in the thick of winter.

Wonderful and will stay there again

Pros: It was my second time staying there. I love the area. The rooms are comfortable, especially the bed. The tea Station in the room also includes a Nespresso Maschine. I will definitely stay there again.

Cons: This time, I was on my own so I had enough space. For two people with suitcases staying for a week, a closet in the room would be good or somewhere to unpack your suitcase or put your suitcase on

Nice guesthouse for short trip to Edinburgh

Pros: Our room was immaculate and mostly quiet. The location of the guesthouse was perfect for us (Stockbridge Market, Water of Leith Walkway etc.) with excellent bus connections to city centre.

Cons: Missed the 'old days' a little, when you could have breakfast at your guesthouse and meet your hosts.

Pros: A spacious room that not only met but exceeded all our expectations! ❤️The owner gave us a free room upgrade which was amazing (especially after a long journey)The room was clean and well-maintained, there was tea and coffee, and that view... amazing! The location was wonderful - everything was close by, we explored the entire city on foot. There's a shop and a pub a 5-minute walk away. We highly recommend it and we’ll be back for sure :)

Worth duplicated stay

Pros: 1. The structure of the room design 2. The feeling of space is vast and comfortable 3. The light is Art sense and funiture is vintage vibe.

Cons: None so far. Hope it has more rooms.

Charming 3-day stay

Pros: We haven't met the host but they were welcoming and gave us all info we needed via text. They were helpful to us. Room itself was great, good location, everything was clean and there were some things you don't expect in any apartment but rather at home.

A gem of a place in the coolest neighbourhood

Pros: Cozy place in the best neighbourhood! Very comfortable bed and nicely furnished with all comforts. So many great cafes, restaurants and independent shops a few min walk and a 15min walk into the centre of Edinburgh! Would come back for sure!
