I had an amazing time and would happily stay again

Pros: Really lovely place with a very friendly owner, lovely cosy room which was much bigger than expected. Only a small walking distance to the town. Was really great as a couple going for a trip, Coffee in the room was a nice touch also.

Comfortable rooms for a beautiful city

Pros: Nice and comfortable bed, clean rooms, and kind guest. We asked her to turn up the heating as it was pretty cold and she did, super helpful.

Cons: The showers were difficult to use / figure out to use, and they were often too hot or cold. The bed was a tiny bit small for two.

I really recommend this property. It’s close to the center, comfortable, and comfy. Keiko was so nice and helpful.

Fantastic stay and kind staff.

Pros: Loved my stay at Ardenlee Guest house! Keiko, the property manager (or owner?) was one of the best hosts ive ever come into contact with. Extremely kind, and replied to messages super quickly. Facilities were great, and the shared bathroom was cleaned twice per day. Comfy bed too. Would recommend if you are in Edinburgh!

Pros: The facilities at property were generally good, and overall I had a comfortable stay. The space was clean and well maintained, and most amenities were as expected.

Cons: I didn’t like that there was no toilet brush in the toilet.

Great value room at good location

Pros: Great location 15 min. walk from city centre. Beautiful room that was neat and cozy. Great communication from site staff and no intereference

Cons: My GF had some period blood on the sheets but the sheets were turned the other way instead of replaced. Maybe it was not seen.

Pros: Keiko was an amazing and friendly host, really helpful! Guesthouse was clean and had everything we needed, shared bathroom was also very clean!

Cons: Bed was a bit squeaky :D

Pros: The location of the hotel was convenient - 15 min walk from the center, and also not in a touristic area so it was quite quiet. The staff was kind enough to let us check in early since we had an early morning flight. We were given a very spacious room which could sleep 4 people even though we were 2. Also the view from our room was nice.

Cons: The room was quite cold during the night. Also there was not much sound proofing in the rooms, so we were woken up in the middle of the night by people talking outside of our room.

Pros: Location, room was very tidy, useful toiletries. Warm, quiet, comfortable. Keiko was very nice and I liked that she come to say hello to us and greet us when we arrived.

Cons: The room was a bit dark, it would do with a lamp by dressing table. But this is just a detail. I loved it anyway.

Cute Guest House

Pros: This charming and clean guest house offers a warm welcome from the manager. It's situated in a peaceful area, just a 20-minute walk from Princes Street.
