The Rest

Pros: Really lovely wee room, had everything that we could have needed,having Netflix was such a nice suprise too.

Pros: Perfect for a good night's rest. Not a hotel with facilities but a clean comfortable place for a peaceful kip!

Pros: Excellent owners and staff. They made it a great night in the restaurant.

Cons: Not much

Pros: The Rest is a little hinden gem in the centre of Tarbert and exceptional value for money. The room was clean, cosy and very comfortable. With all you need for a relaxing stay. Will recommend to family and friends and will stay again.

Pros: Perfectly located in the town centre. Clean and fresh room. Freedom to come and go.

Pros: as well as having access to the shared kitchen, you had your own appliances for making tea or coffee in your room

Pros: I booked the room as I was working nearby. Tarbert is a beautiful little village - very picturesque, and the people are very friendly and welcoming. Car parking being free onstreet way a bonus too. I started in the deluxe double room and found it good value. The room was clean, and had everything I could've asked for. It had that home touch touch to it that made it so the more welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, which I was grateful about. Handily the TV had access to a lot of the streaming services. The complimentary drinks and biscuits weren't expected and warmly received. The bathroom was totally fine, and the shower had good pressure. I can't really fault the place. The host was particularly excellent - communicative, helpful, adaptive and nice. I would definitely return here if in the area.

Cons: It's tough to find anything wrong with the property. It was also well located. My only thing - which is nothing to do with the property - is that local restaurants close kind of early, so bear that in mind.

A lovely room

Pros: A lovely room, plenty of space to move around, communication with owner was good. It made a lovely change having the key lock number before hand, so many places wait until the last minute.

As it was exactly what I required. A double bedroom with shower room. Plus TV, tea and coffee etc,

Pros: Just wanted a place to sleep and this property fitted the bill perfectly.

Cons: Access to the property was through a dark unlit passage, but a light did come on at the entrance.
