Peaceful haven in a storm

Pros: Like stepping into an Agatha Christie novel. Lovely. We arrived very late, driving through a storm and were delighted to find that the kitchen had stayed open for us. Just as well as the food was delicious and I was pleased to see an exhaustive wine list which is rare in this part of the world. Our 10/10 breakfast the next morning was enjoyed as the storm still raged outside. The views were amazing but made even more special by the biblical rain.

Very enjoyable 3 night stay in Campbeltown

Pros: Location is superb, excellent views of the town and harbour. Beautiful old building with lovely grounds at the front…..and a very interesting history.
